Agios Nikolas Beach - Peristeria

Peristeria is a coastal settlement in the southern part of Salamis, with a picturesque beach with pebbles and crystal-clear waters, two rocky islands and a harbor for boats and fishing boats. Above Peristeria bay, there is also the Cave of Euripides. It has a narrow entrance, chambers with a low ceiling and natural niches and recesses. According to the Ministry of Culture, it is not an organized archaeological site. The beautiful waters of Agios Nikolaos beach in Peristeria are ideal for swimming and resemble the Ionian Sea. The beach is not organized, nor does it offer options for coffee or food. The picturesque island of Salamina, however, is full of such options to visit after swimming in the emerald waters of St. Nikolaou.
