Aianteio is a coastal town in Salamina at an altitude of 40 m and with a population of 3,652 inhabitants. It is 4 km from Salamina. It is located on the east coast of the island, in the southern tip of the bay of Salamina. It is the seat of the homonymous municipal community of the municipality of Salamina. The village was called Mulki until 1915. There is a private public transport network throughout Salamina for the daily movements of both residents and visitors during the summer season. In recent years, efforts have been made to rehabilitate the area and the island in general since it is a destination for hundreds of residents of Athens due to the short distance and the low cost of transportation.
